There has always been pus. This was the black parts sloughing off and having to be removed with vigorous hypertonic saline gargles, and coughing / half-vomiting them out into the sink.
Awesome!
Did they try to crawl away after that?
Are you sure you aren't firni with a new and improved™ userpic?
I have seen both of them in the same room before. Definitely not the same person. :-)

crawling away would be much better than trying to CRAWL BACK IN.
Sadly, no. I had to wash them down the sink by hand and Q-tip.
OK... I was doing all right... until I read THIS. EEEEEEW! *reminding myself that I am not obligated to click every link*
Glad you're starting to come around, though.
ZOMG GROSS. hehe.
Glad to hear you're on the mend. What a big bunch of yuckiness.

I am glad you are getting better!
Interesting. When I was in late childhood, I had a really awful case of tonsillitis that involved fevers, vomiting, and begging to go to the doctor (from a kid who hated needles). A couple years later, my dad, who'd now finished med school, was checking my throat for me and asked, "When did you have your tonsils removed?"
Seems they did roughly the same thing as yours, leaving me with nothing but the stubs, as if they'd been surgically removed. Perhaps you'll be lucky and have the same thing.
Oh, there is plenty of tonsil left, I tell you. My tonsils are currently each approximately the size of ping-pong balls. |
