Tonsils Episode Three
My quick-read strep test was positive. My overnight culture -- MUCH more accurate -- was NEGATIVE.
Both tonsils now have black spots on them.
I had four or five dreams last night in which I was drowning or otherwise having trouble breathing. Apparently, this all adds up to a Very Concerning Sign, and I am to get myself to Urgent Care posthaste. Whee.

Yikes! Exploding spotted tonsils are not good. I'm glad you're keeping in touch with your medical person about stuff.
This totally does not constitute medical advice, but I ended up having my tonsils out as a kid when I started to have breathing problems based on them. The surgery and aftercare went smoothly, other than boredom on my part. If you end up having to have surgery for this, I wish you well and much Jello.
Please to be improving in health immediately.
ouch. I hope this resolves quickly and positively!
